New year is finally here, and before I write my usual blabla, there is a meme I want to write (took from journal )

1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
I smoked. Anything dangerous really, it was Shisha (don't  know if it's like this we write it), pretty good actually.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I am not a resolution person. Because in my mind, you just forget it, it simply a kind of tradition that is funny to do on the first day of new year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, and I'm glad.

5. What countries did you visit?
I stayed in Canada last year, no trip, but I will soon, I hope so.

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
No tormented mind.

7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
September 11 and beginning of december, first for the break up with my love and second one for the re-union with her.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I improved my skills at drawing.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Hide more and more how I really feel.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Usual stuff: colds

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Camera reflex.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My father, to let me grow as I should and let me slowly take my leaves.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
I don't think they deserve mention.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Food, gaz, reparation of car scratch, manga, cosplay and other little things.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The anual cosplay in Montréal

16. What song will always remind you of 2011?
I have discovered so much song, I can't remember.

Couldn't say.

ii. thinner or fatter?
Thinner, and I don't even know why.

Richer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercise.

Being lazy.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With my family I guess...but I would like to be traveling instead.

Was already.

None.

Mentalist.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yup.

I'm not quite a reader.

Chorus.

Money.

A better friendship that seem to slowly fade away.

29. What was your favourite film of this year?
Oh mein gott, I can't say, I watch too much movies.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 19 and I went to eat sushi with my friends.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Thrust.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Jeans and grunge.

33. What kept you sane?
My father.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Hetalia voice actors. (both japanese and english)

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The prime minister of my country wasn't the one I voted for.

36. Who did you miss?
Too much of persons.

37. Who was/were the best new person(s) you met?
Hmmm...I would have to say my co-worker at my actual job.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011?
You think you know well some persons, but you figure out that you don't, that is where you have to take some actions before it's too late.

I must say it was a rough year, but as I always tell myself, you just got to get up and keep moving.

I must say that I was disappointed, especially in myself. I wanted to get the friendship I had a year ago that faded, but only got it worse I guess. Now, I feel like I'm not part of the gang anymore, like a third party that enjoy being with the group, but don't know anything about the situation. Each day I'm growing to become an independent adult, and for that, I will have to make choice. In two years, I would like to have my own apartment, go to university and begin to live my life by my own. I don't know where I will be, maybe here or away, and really I don't care. My plans are made: I want to travel, to study in my field and live on my own. It will be hard, but not impossible, and I will make it.

In all my life, I have built some kind of protection around me that don't show my weaknesses. It's some kind of fortress that only one person has access, and even him has some problem getting through. I don't show my feelings, and I don't think it will change, but I guess that this year, I will try my best to begin a new path of trust along the ones that share my life. I will do my best to not hide anything that could hurt someone, or just at least not hide anything that could make things better. I'm not someone who gives answers to problems, but at least I am able to just be there. I have no tact, but I tell the truth even if it hurts. But if no one seek my help or decide to keep things for themselves, I will just step aside and continue walking.

That is how I see my new route. That is how I want to do it, and this time I want to successfully get to my goal!

Now that serious matters have been taken cared of...

I have improved my skills in drawing, and I am pretty much glad of it. There is a lot of sketch I've been making...I only need to scan them.

I also bought a new camera, a professional one, and now that I received a tripod and a case, I will be able to take the most wonderful picture of cosplay I have ever took.

Speaking of cosplay...This year is a busy one. We have two conventions coming up and I'm already fully loaded in costumes:

Nadeshicon: Nyo!Prussia (1st version) and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Otakuthon: Duchy of Prussia, April Fool, Teutonic Knight and again Sonic.
